Bio-sketch:

Joost Wagenaar currently holds a postdoctoral position in the Translational Bioengineering Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his masters degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Twente in the Netherlands and his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh where he focussed on decoding limb kinematics from the firing rates of primary afferent neurons.

His current focus is on the analysis of continuous iEEG in epilepsy and the development of a new, state of the art, high density recording/stimulating multi-electrode platform.
